Our firm provides confidential consultations and legal representation in family law matters. We understand difficult family dynamics which can often involve substance abuse, mental and physical illness, dementia and domestic abuse and result in legal problems.  Because of our experience in law enforcement and as former prosecutors, we place a high priority on “safety first” and on providing prompt, practical and safe options to clients who need information about any aspect of family law, as well as gun violence protection or domestic abuse restraining orders. 

• We promote mediation and encourage cooperative settlements to lower the financial and emotional costs of family transitions whenever possible.

• We handle or assist clients with premarital and marital agreements, divorces, guardianships for children and the elderly, paternity, custody modifications, child support, relocation, and step-parent adoptions. Our family law practice excludes the termination of parental rights, private adoptions or any type of military or civilian criminal defense practice.

• We represent a wide-range of clients, including members of the military. Our clients are inter-island, interstate, international, local, straight and LGBTQ.
